After the recent cancellation due to rain, a community planting took place below the environment centre on Sunday 21 November 2010. Over 20 people, including council officers, SDCN members and local friends and landcare groups representatives took part on a beautiful Spring day planting of 1000 indigenous ground, shrub and tree plants. We enjoyed a barbecue and drinks afterwards. Thanks to Shire Bushland Officer Gavin Prentice for organizing the event.
