Community native plant nursery for the Southern Dandenongs area
Parks Victoria recently notified SDCN in August 2010 of a successful grant application to enable us to continue the rehabilitation of the
Monbulk Creek environmental corridor. We have received a grant of almost $3000 towards pest plant control, direct seeding and revegetation of our project site. Thanks to park ranger Mick Van Der Vreede for his support in the completion of the grant application.

SDCN is closed between Christmas Day and the first Sunday in February for seed collection over summer. SDCN is also closed on a day of Total Fire Ban declared by the CFA in the central district (Victoria), as well as public holidays.
