Celebration of National Tree Day 2010 with a planting along the Monbulk Creek at Lysterfield. Ten people, including members and visitors planted over 400 trees and shrubs on Sunday 1st August 2010. Great to see the turn up of hardy planters on a day that started out with hail, rain and winds. As we left the nursery the rain stopped and did not restart until we had finished the planting and morning tea back at the nursery. The clear weather had defied the forecast rain, hail and thunder.
